 KAROO TAPAS & WINEGARDEN

Our winegarden with the great Swartberg as backdrop is the perfect site to savour our exquisite wines.

The Karoo Victorian styled homestead and relaxed atmosphere creates that tranquil "Karoo feeling". Sit back and enjoy our Karoo inspired tapas picnic baskets.

Enjoy your own picnic basket selection with our Pinotage Rose...ice cold on a warm Karoo summersday!

From ostrich carpachio and Karoo olives with fresh bread and a variety of cheese - a sensual experience of the Karoo with locally produced delicatessen being used throughout.

A small stage  for local artist gives background music  for those lazy Saturdays and warm Karoo evenings.

 TASTINGS & FUNCTIONS

Our tasting facility is an intimate and rustic styled room dating from the late 1800's that leads out to our winegarden - this gives our tasting facility a warm and inviting feel. It's wooden floor and oregan ceiling  portrays a feel of yesteryear although stylfully decorated and newly revamped.

We have a personal and interactive approach that makes our customers come back for more. We use quality stemware , correct refrigeration and correct lighting and ample information to make your preffered choice when buying our unique wines as easy as possible.

Our private conference facility can host 30 people seated for private tastings and or corporate meetings and workshops. We cater for small intimate weddings , private functions and year end functions.

Karusa is the only working vineyard and winery to cater for these functions in Oudtshoorn. The backdrop of the Swartberg and the meticulously cared for vineyards makes this the perfect photo shoot for your wedding-with the beautifull Cango Valley church a stones throw away.

THINK KAROO. DRINK KARUSA
